Manchester City has persuaded Leicester City to accept the inclusion of a £50 million buy-back clause in Kelechi Iheanacho’s contract, according to a report.
The 20-year-old scored 21 goals during his time in the first team at the Etihad Stadium, but made just six starts in the Premier League and Champions League last season.
Iheanacho had a medical at Leicester’s training ground on Tuesday and will join the Foxes for £25 million this week.
The report, however, goes on to claim that Man City has struck an agreement which will see them given the first option to re-sign the Nigerian for the sum of £50 million as per the clause.
Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and AS Monaco were also reported to be interested in Iheanacho.
