The management of Crime Busters FC, Enugu, has assured the club’s fans that it will defeat Enyimba International FC of Aba Feeder team and pick up the maximum three points at the weekend.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the oriental Nationwide League One derby will take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Saturday by 4 p.m.
The Team Manager of Crime Busters, Ebere Amaraizu, told NAN after the team’s training session on Thursday that the club would not leave any stone unturned in its bid to defeat the visitors from Aba.
Amaraizu said the management had urged the coaches and players to be more focused and redouble their efforts in preparation for the match.
He said: “We have talked to everybody in the team on how crucial the match is, especially as we are playing at home with thousands of football fans coming to watch the match at the Cathedral — Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
“We will deploy sound tactical and technical play to outwit our rivals since it’s a battle for supremacy for the teams within the zone.”
Amaraizu, who is also the Director in charge of NLO activities in the South-East, said the league is progressing smoothly.
He said: “The 2017/2018 NLO league has been moving on hitch-free and it is gaining more popularity among the country’s football loving community.’’
