Barely 12 hours to Saturday’s (today) local government elections in Lagos State, the chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress for Igando/Ikotun Local Government Area, Comrade Shakiru Alabi Balogun, has died.
The chairmanship hopeful was killed in a motor accident.
Popularly known as SAB, Balogun died in the accident along LASU/Isheri Road in Igando.
The accident involved a Lagos State Waste Management Agency truck, a four-feet container and the Special Utility Vehicle Jeep in which Balogun was riding.
