Lagos APC LG poll aspirant’s daughter abducted

Bukola, the daughter of Bode Adeosun, an All Progressives Congress councillorship aspirant in the upcoming local government election in Odi Olowo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, has been abducted.
The suspicion is that it is a case of kidnapping.
According to available information, Bukola was abducted on Tuesday around 9pm in Ilupeju area of Lagos State.
She was said to have stepped out of the house alongside her younger sister to buy fish for her mother.
The abductors were said to have taken her away in a Toyota Camry car.
Adeseun has confirmed the development.
He said he has searched the whole area alongside other concerned residents.
He said Bukola, who ought to turn 20 on Saturday, was being used by his political opponents to get back to him.
Adeseun’s party is yet to publicly release the list of candidates for the election.
It, however, said the list had been submitted to the Lagos State Independent adeseun said: “My daughter was abducted four days to her birthday.
“She would have been 20.
“I hope this is not how my political opponents want to get back at me.
“They know they would lose in the forthcoming election.”
The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the development.
Famous-Cole, however, described it as a case of a missing person and not abduction.
He said investigation has commenced into the case, which was reported at Ilupeju Police Station.
