The Kwara Youth Network has called on the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, to intervene in the stoppage of the free shuttle bus provided by the Labour Party gubernatorial aspirant in the state, Dr. Mike Omotosho.
In a statement by its Director of Publicity, Tunde Olarinoye, the Kwara Youth Network noted that though the free shuttle service may be a campaign instrument, but it has gone a long way to assist in solving the transportation problem of the teaming population of “our youth in the state polytechnic”.
Olarinoye therefore called on other aspirants to emulate the good gesture by the Dr. Mike Omotosho Campaign Organisation.
The association reiterated its commitment to bring Kwara State youth under the same umbrella and further affirmed that the association is not affiliated to any political party and have members across all political parties in Nigeria.
The association commended the efforts of the state government for the establishment of the state owned university and urged the administration to do more to elevate Kwara State to an educationally advantaged position.
