The Kwara State House of Assembly is to commence the process of confirmation of the commissioner-nominees of the state Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, next week Tuesday.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Abdul-Rahman Sanni.
Sanni said this was occasioned by the break embarked upon by members of the House.
He confirmed that the Assembly has received the message from Ahmed on the commissioner-nominees for confirmation.
The statement said the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad, and another member is in Vienna, Austria for the 2015 International Bar Association meeting.
Ahmad is one of the principal officers with special functions at the IBA event.
Members of the Public Accounts Committee of the House are also out of the country for a workshop.
The statement said the House is expected to resume on October 13, 2015.
