The remains of Brananma Crooner, Kefee Obareki-Momoh, will be buried on July 11.
Obareki-Momoh’s family, in conjunction with the burial committee, headed by gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, released the statement on Thursday in Sapele, Delta State. According to the burial statement, as her body arrives from the United States of America, she will be immediately transported to her home town, Okpara-Inland in Ethiope Local Government Area of Delta State, where she will be finally laid to rest.
Okposo, while speaking on behalf the burial committee during their visit to the deceased’s family in Sapele, said that the delegation was in the town to commiserate with the family for the loss of their daughter.
He expressed his sadness on such visit to the family but said Obareki-Momoh’s contribution to the Nigeria entertainment industry necessitated the move.
Okposo added: “We will perform the last respects we owe our sister to the best of our abilities.
“We will let the world know that a queen was here and she will always be celebrated.
“She brought peace, happiness and love to the world and in her passing and even though we are heat broken, we will be comforted in the fact that God knows the best and we can’t question him.”
