Former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, will on Friday (today) hold a meeting with former federal and state political appointees and government functionaries during his regime as governor at his Igbere country home.
According to Kalu, the meeting will deliberate on critical issues relating to the development of the God’s own state, adding that it is time to come together for the progress of Nigeria and Abia State in particular.
In a statement signed by his aide, Kunle Oyewumi, Kalu said: “We have decided to sit under one roof to evaluate the state of development in Abia State.
“We are all stakeholders in the State and as such it is not out of place to exchange ideas on how to take the state to enviable heights.
“At the ending of the meeting, a communique will be issued for the consumption of people at the helm and other leaders.”
