Forbes updated their list of the biggest money-makers in boxing this week and Briton’s Anthony Joshua is the new king of the sport.
Earning vast sums from sell-out football stadium bouts and the clout of Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, Joshua recently pocketed £18 million ($25 million) from his latest title defence against Joseph Parker.
The current four-belt heavyweight ruler is expected to stay at the helm for some time to come, having recently been offered $50 million by Deontay Wilder for a massive undisputed unification.
Recent bad news gets worse for Canelo Alvarez as the Mexican drops from first to third on the list, compounding his misery after missing out on a lucrative rematch with Gennady Golovkin.

1. Anthony Joshua
2. Gennady Golovkin
3. Canelo Alvarez
4. Vasiliy Lomachenko
5. Deontay Wilder
6. Errol Spence
