Nigeria’s bad boy actor, Jim Iyke, has again been dragged to an Abuja High Court for allegedly failing to make an agreed payment.
The issue had been on in the last three months.
Close sources said that following a reported agreement signed by the actor to make a refund, in installment, of an alleged N15 million, which he was said to have fraudulently obtained from an Abuja-based business woman, Habiba Abubakar, Iyke was arrested by the police.
The source further informed us that Abubakar’s lawyer recently filed a suit under in an Abuja court.
The case was reportedly heard at Court 15, Apo District of Abuja.
However, in a dramatic twist in court, the actor’s counsel, Esther Uzoma, reportedly denied her client’s knowledge of Abubakar.
Uzoma said Iyke didn’t sign any agreement to refund any money in respect of the alleged fraud.
