The Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, has been commended for his developmental strides, especially construction of roads, by his administration.
The National President of the Nigeria Progressive Youth Congress, Comrade Inemeybulam Charles, gave this commendation in Jos on Friday at the Ministry of Urban Development while presenting a certificate of honour to the Commissioner, Engineer Solomon Maren.
Charles commended the Jang administration for introducing programmes that have direct impact on the lives of the youths in the state, stating that they had affected youths of the state positively.
Charles said the NPYC was working towards achieving progress and promotion of good governance in the state through its good government tour as well to monitor performance in the country.
Responding, Maren challenged the youths to promote peaceful coexistence among them.
He tasked them to shun youths restiveness by embracing good advice from elderly people.
Maren said the award will encourage him to serve humanity, promote good governance and also ensure the participation of the youth in government.
He urged the youth to continue to help in the development of individuals so that Nigeria can be a better society, which is transparency and accountability.
