Registered voters on Saturday turned out en-mass for accreditation in the re-run election for the governorship seat of Taraba State.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission were spotted at 8am at Turaki polling unit in Jalingo and Lankaviri in Yorro council areas, where election would hold.
Accreditation is also holding smoothly in Karim, Wukari, Takum and other areas that the re-run is expected to take place.
NAN reports that the re-run will take place in 218 polling units across 10 council areas of Taraba State.
Security has been beefed up across the state especially Jalingo, the capital, to avert possible violence that may erupt while conducting the exercise.
The police in Taraba State had on Friday announced a restriction of movement from 8am to 5pm as part of measures to prevent any break down of law and order during the election.
