A Federal High Court in Lagos has remanded an Indian national, Nitheshi Kumar, in a correctional services centre for allegedly damaging properties of Dangote Refinery.
The Indian was ordered remanded in prison following his arraignment for alleged vandalism on Thursday.
Kumar, a water tanker driver, who pleaded not guilty, was accused by the police of vandalising electric cables at the Dangote Petrochemical and Oil Refinery Project, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
Justice Daniel Osiagor remanded the defendant in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services.
Osiagor adjourned the matter until November 19, 2021 for trial.
