Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has shocked fans by announcing that he’s married.
The singer sparked social media buzz after he told a female fan that he is married with children.
Wizkid disclosed this during a recent live performance at the Grammy-winning artist’s ladies-only party in London on Tuesday.
A video from the event which went viral on Wednesday, showed Wizkid surrounded by a crowd of his female fans with one woman, in particular, appearing to get unusually close to the singer.
In the video, Wizkid paused from performing to politely tell the fan not to get too close, reminding her that he is a married man with kids.

“Baby, I am a married man, don’t come close to me. I am married. My kids are at home,” he said.
This, however, generated a buzz on social media platforms as some felt his action was a snub.
Although it’s unclear if he was joking, he didn’t disclose further details about his wife or the wedding.
This news comes as a surprise to many, as Wizkid has kept his personal life private in the past.
Wizkid has been in a relationship with his longtime partner and manager, Jada Pollock, with whom he has two sons, Zion and AJ.
