ICPC partners Adamawa on anti-corruption curriculum in schools

The Adamawa Government is to partner with the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission to introduce anti-corruption curriculum in schools in the state.
Bala Sanga, the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice disclosed this in Yola on Wednesday while briefing newsmen after the State Executive Council meeting.
According to Sanga, the curriculum will cover all strata of education in the state.
He said that all lawyers in the Ministry of Justice would be involved in the domestication of the policy.
Sanga said: “We have just finished discussion with the ICPC on the introduction of anti-corruption curriculum for schools in the state.
“The curriculum will cover from nursery schools to tertiary education in the state.
“I believe that the development will go a long way in educating the upcoming ones on the negative impact of corruption on the society.”
The commissioner added that the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons had requested the government to host its office in the state.
Sanga said that the ministry would collaborate with the agency to achieve its goal in the state.
He said that the North east management of the agency with its office in Maiduguri made a vibrant presentation on its activities to the council.
