Gunmen on Monday morning stormed the family house of the Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono, and whisked away his brother, Babawuro Tofai.
The Personal Assistant to the Minister, Umar Wali, confirmed the abduction to Solacebase.
Wali said the gunmen attacked the house in Gabasawa Local Government Area of Kano State around 1am.
He said: ‘’Before abducting Babawuro Tofai, a young boy in the house was also beaten and he sustained a fracture in the course of the attack.”
He said the abductors were yet to contact the family.
