Former Brighton manager Gus Poyet has been named new coach of Greece.
The Greek Football Federation announced the Manager’s appointment in the early hours of Sunday.
The Uruguayan has signed a contract that extends to 2023 with the option of another year if Greece makes it to the European Championships 2024.
Dutchman John van’t Schip left the job before Christmas.
Poyet has previously coached clubs such as Bordeaux, Real Betis, AEK Athens and Sunderland.
