Afro Beat King, Femi Kuti, has lost out again at the Grammy Awards for the fourth time.
Kuti was nominated in the world music category for his album titled: No Place For My Dream. Kuti lost out to the French group, Gipsy Kings, and South African Choral group, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, in a tie.
The winner for the category and some others were announced at a pre-telecast on Sunday evening.
Kuti, it would be recalled, lost out at the 2003, 2010 and 2011 editions, before losing again at the 2014 edition of the award.
Elated Kuti, who didn’t attend the award ceremony, was quoted to have said that it is a great achievement to even be nominated.
