Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State, who was injured on Friday in a fatal accident that claimed the life of his ADC on the spot, has been moved into the Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital, Abuja.
Sources told newsmen he was moved to the NHS on Friday from the Lokoja specialist Hospital, Kogi State, where he received initial treatment.
He was reported to have been flown by helicopter.
The governor’s legs are said to be “badly broken.”
Wada and his entourage were involved in the accident on the Lokoja-Ajaokuta Highway.
