The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has approved the composition of boards of 20 parastatals in the state.
In a statement issued in Ilorin on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Sola Gold, the government said the composition was driven by its efforts to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the management of the affairs of the parastatals.
Gold added that the appointment of the boards is also designed to enhance productivity and boost the sense of belonging to the people in the state.
While congratulating the new appointees, Gold urged them to serve the government and people diligently.
