The Peoples Democratic Party in the wee hours of Saturday elected Uche Secondus as its National Chairman at its National Convention, which commenced on Saturday at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The election of Secondus was based on a Unity List presented to delegates at the convention.
The list had been in circulation since Friday but was authenticated at the convention venue on Saturday.
While Secondus scored 2,000 votes out of the 2,396 votes cast at the convention, his closest rival and former Minister of Education, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, scored 230 votes and High Chief Raymond Dokpesi polled 66 votes.

Aribisala Adewale – National Treasurer
Wada Masu – Deputy National Treasurer
Adamu Mustapha – National Auditor
Arong Divine – Deputy National Auditor.
Mariya Umar – National Woman Leader
