The National Association of Women Journalist in Edo State has elected, Flora Bossey of the state Ministry of Information and Orientation as its state chairperson.
Bossey, two time Vice Chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, defeated the incumbent, Amina Ebor of Edo Broadcasting Service, in Benin on Monday.
She polled 55 against Ebor’s 25 votes.
The others elected were Rosemary Okoduwa, Secretary; Agatha Egware-Ojo, Treasurer; Hope Uwaifo, Financial Secretary; and Osarieme Idiaghe was returned unopposed.
Bossey, who dedicated her victory to all Edo State NAWOJ members, promised to work with all members as one family.
