President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the creation of Electricity Management Services Limited and its Management team.
The new body, a statement said on Friday, has become expedient at this critical time as the power sector transits from public sector-led to a private sector-driven one.
The Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, will inaugurate the new management team on September 10, 2013, in Abuja.
Those to manage EMS are Engineer Peter Ewesor, the Managing Director/CEO; Engineer Tukur M. Gidado, the Executive Director, Technical Services; Ikechi Clara Nwosu, the Executive Director, Human Resources and Corporate Services; Ambassador Ayuba J. Ngbako, the Executive Director, Commercial Services; and Barrister Funke Sam-Stanford the General Manager, Legal Services/Company Secretary.
Others in the team are Oyinnemi Gbeworo, the General Manager, Finance & Accounts; E.O. Adeniyi, the General Manager, Procurement; Aneke Uche, the General Manager, Public Affairs; Tijani Baba, the General Manager, Audit; and Engineer Okwudili Ezegwa, the General Manager, Meter Test Station.
