Some States Governors, including those elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, are due to visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London on Tuesday (today), The Punch is reporting.
But from the list provided to the highly credible newspaper, the names of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, two fierce critics of Buhari, are missing from the list.
Wike and Fayose belong to the Peoples Democratic Party, while Buhari was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Some leaders of the APC, including Governors and the National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, on Sunday visited the President in London, where he had been undergoing medical treatment for about 80 days now.
The Punch said it gathered the governors are scheduled to have lunch with President Buhari, adding that the visit was being organised by the office of the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Munguno (retd).
The governors picked for the trip are Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State (South South), Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State (South East), Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State (North West) and Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State (South West).
The highly credible newspaper could not obtain the names of the other two from the North East and North Central.
