Chelsea star John Obi Mikel was the cynosure of all eyes in Super Eagles training at the UJ Esuene stadium, Calabar.
Mikel became the toss of fans with precision on the ball in their build up for Saturday’s clash against the Red Devils of Congo.
The Calabar fans who trouped in their hundreds to catch a glimpse of the Eagles’ stars cheered Mikel ceaseless as they loudly chorused ‘Obi, Obi’ to their appreciation of quality football.
It however took the intervention of the security men to guide the Chelsea star into the team’s bus at the end of the training session.
SS Lazio’s combative midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi also a got full dosage of the treatment by fans who were pulling and pushing to have a feel of the player.
Obviously, the fans were happy to see Onazi return to the pitch after breaking his foot against France at the World Cup.
