An explosion has rocked a police station in Adamawa State.
The explosion occurred at the Motor Traffic Division of the Adamawa State Police Command in Jimeta.
The development has been confirmed by the Adamawa State Government.
Harun Furo, the Permanent Secretary, Special Duty and Executive Chairman of Adamawa Emergency Management Agency, confirmed the incident.
Furo said that the details of damage caused by the blast was yet to be ascertained.
Eyewitnesses said some part of Jimeta Central Primary School was also hit by the blast.
