A sister of former Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, Rev. Bimpe Fayose-Sorinolu, is dead.
Fayose-Sorinolu, who has been battling cancer in the last few years, died in the United Kingdom on Wednesday.
As earlier reported by The Eagle Online on January 22, 2013, she was confined to the St. Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney Central, London, hospital bed for proper medical attention owing to the severity of the ailment.
A close source to the Ekiti State born mother of three said Sorinolu ought to have returned to Nigeria after over a year in the UK but she had to stay back for treatment.
The late high high society, who turned several heads in Nigeria in her direction with her non governmental organization aimed at caring for the destitutes on the street, is survived by three children.
