The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has said that those perpetrating evil in the country would be exposed in the next one week.
Adeboye, who spoke at the March Special Holy Ghost service on Friday at the Redemption Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, said that God has told him that the country will be at peace.
At the Holy Ghost service, which coincided with the 70th birthday of Adeboye, who is popularly called Daddy GO, he said: “Take note: all evil doers in the country will be exposed within the next one week. In less than one week we will see the end of trouble makers in this country.”
Turning the the Minister of Trade, Dr. Olusegun Aganga, who came with a personal letter from President Goodluck Jonathan to Adeboye to commemorate his birthday, the General Overseer said: “Tell the President, it is going to be well with Nigeria. God tells me that there will be peace in Nigeria.”
He said that Aganga should also tell Jonathan that he will succeed.
Aganga said that Jonathan would have loved to be at the service but for state commitments.
He eulogised Adeboye for providing spiritual leadership for the country and for speaking out in times of national crisis.
He said: “You are an inspiration to all of us. God will continue to guide you as you continue to fulfill the divine purposes for which you have been called. God’s selfless love will continue to be with you sir.”
Other dignitaries who were at the special service were the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria and also that of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor; the Head, Living Faith Chapel, popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop Davod Oyedepo; the Head, The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, Bishop Mike Okonkwo; the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko; and the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Yomi Awoniyi.
Adeboye, in his sermon with the theme: Let the fire fall, said that so many positive things will happen to a Christian when the fire of God falls on him.
Using Judges 15: 11-16 as the main Bible reference, Adeboye said among other things that when God’s fire falls on someone, yokes are destroyed, the one on whom the fire falls becomes empowered, all the person’s external enemies are destroyed, his or her household enemies will be disappointed, the person’s destiny will be restored, he will have the last laugh and he or she will begin to sing a new song.
