The Alumni Association of the National Institute has congratulated its Muslim members and other Nigerians of the Islamic faith as they celebrate Eid, marking the end of the Ramadan fasting.
The President of the association, Ambassador Emmanuel Obi Okafor, sent out the congratulatory message in a statement he issued on Sunday.
According to Okafor: “On behalf of the National Executive Committee and the entire membership of the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), I extend my warmest felicitations to all Muslim members of AANI and indeed all Nigerians on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr. Ramadan has been a period of deep spiritual reflection, devotion, and sacrifice, reminding us of the virtues of patience, kindness, and self-discipline.
“As we mark this special occasion, I commend you all for your unwavering commitment to the values of peace, unity, and national development, which remain the cornerstone of AANI’s mission, towards a better society.
“I urge all Nigerians to celebrate peacefully, in the spirit of love, tolerance, and mutual respect, while reinforcing our collective resolve to build a more harmonious and prosperous nation.
