As parts of its contribution to enlightening the public on how to curb the spread of deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), a group, a youth group is organizing awareness campaign tour of the 23 Councils in Rivers State.
According to a statement by the group, Nigerian Youth for Peace and democracy, the campaigning tour tagged R.E.A.C.T will kick off on 15th September, 2014.
It also promised to distribute free sanitizers and glove to those who attend.
“We the Nigerian Youth for Peace and Democracy are having a first ever awareness campaign tagged: R.E.A.C.T Rivers Ebola Awareness Campaign Tour holding in the 23 Local Governments it is kick starting in Obio Akpor on the 15th of September 2014 sanitizers and gloves will be given free of charge all good people of Rivers State are to be at the one close to them.
