The Managing Editor/Chief Executive Officer of Premium Eagle Media Limited, publishers of The Eagle Online, Dotun Oladipo, on Thursday announced the intention of the online news platform to repackage.
Oladipo, in a statement, said after over two years of successful operations, the management has decided to take a total look at the platform and tinker with the website to make it more functional and user friendly.
He added: “Owing to this, we will be shutting down operations for about 72 hours.
“This will start by 12am on Friday.
“The site will be back on Sunday by midday with a more user friendly look and stories.”
Oladipo expressed the gratitude of the company’s management to those who have been visiting the news site and especially to advertisers who have kept it going in its over two years of operations.
