Former Junior International, Kenneth Anyanwu, may be out for about two weeks after injuring his shoulder in Dolphins’ 3-0 win over Sony Ela Nguema in CAF Champions League on Sunday in Malabo.
Anyanwu lasted only 53 minutes and was replaced by Victor Babayaro.
Club doctor, Vincent Wachukwu, said after the game that it did not look serious and estimates that Anyanwu will be training again in two weeks.
“From preliminary examination there, I put it at about two weeks that he will be out of action. It looks like a dislocation on the shoulder but the x-ray will ascertain the extent of the injury and we give proper treatment,” Wachukwu said.
Chidi Osuchukwu was also taken off injured but the doctor said it was just muscle cramps and he will be back to training immediately while Emma Nwachi aggravated an old injury and will be out for about one week to rest it.
