The Zamfara chapter of the All Progressives Congress has scored high the state government’s performance in spite of the security challenges faced by the state.
The APC state Chairman, Alhaji Lawal Liman, gave this commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Gusau on Monday.
Liman said the Governor Abdul’aziz Yari-led administration, has transformed many communities across the state.
He said: “Within seven years of the present administration, the government has provided good roads, schools, and hospitals across the 14 Local Government Areas of the state.
“Our state is fully transformed across vital sectors of education, health, agriculture and transportation among others.
“Despite the security challenges facing the state and the huge amount of money spent on security by the state government, it executed various development projects.”
He urged the people of the state to use the ongoing Ramadan to pray for peace and stability in the state.
Liman also called on all stakeholders to continue to cooperate with the government and security agencies in order to end security challenges.
He said: “As we are celebrating 7th anniversary, we have planned to inaugurate more than 100 development projects to mark the anniversary.
“We are expecting President Muhammad Buhari, Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, ministers, governors and religious leaders to visit this state to commission some of the projects across the state.”
Liman also tasked the various communities in the state to assist government in maintaining all the projects executed in their areas.
