Shay Given believes Manchester City won’t be the only club in for Dele Alli.
The Tottenham star is being chased by City, with Barcelona legend Xavi confirming his former boss Pep Guardiola’s interest in the 21-year-old.
But Given reckons, should Alli want to leave Spurs, City would face competition from elite clubs across the world.
“He is a class player,” said the Stoke City goalkeeper, who spent two years at City.
“He is still only 21 years of age and he has got the biggest future ahead of him.
“I think every club in world football would want to sign Dele Alli.
“It comes down to Tottenham and how ambitious they are going to be to keep hold of their big players. Harry Kane has been mentioned as well. It is up to Tottenham if they stay or go.
“But I think there will be a host of clubs wanting Dele Alli. He is a class player.”
