Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Muhammadu Buhari, Aliko Dangote, serving and former governors were in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Saturday to grace the wedding fatiha of Governor Babagana Zulum’s son, Mohammed.
The governors included those of Lagos, Yobe, Kwara, Gombe, Bauchi, Katsina, Ogun, Niger, Jigawa and Niger States.
Other dignitaries included the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Mohammed Indimi; Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mele Kyari; former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai; former Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje; members of the National Assembly; and traditional rulers from within and outside Borno State, led by the Shehu of Borno.

The marriage, at Maiduguri Central Mosque, was conducted by the Chief Imam of Borno State, Zanna Laisu.
Former President Buhari stood in as the groom’s representative (Wali).
