Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo have been sworn-in as president and vice president of the country.
The ceremony was performed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed.
Buhari, who was accompanied to the swearing-in podium by former President Goodluck Jonathan, took the oath of office at 10:47am.
Osinbajo took his oath of office and allegiance at 10:37am.
The event, attended by several dignitaries from across the world, was still on as at press time.
