The Senate on Wednesday summoned the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, over the raid on the residence of Senator Danjuma Goje.
During the raid on the residence of Goje on April 20, 2017, documents said to be vital to the passage of the 2017 Budget were reportedly taken away.
This stalled further work on the. Budget, Goje told his colleagues during plenary on Wednesday.
As at press time, Idris was still in a closed door meeting with the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu.
