Nigeria’s Reggae legend, Ukeleke Onwubya, popularly known as Ras Kimono, is dead.
Kimono was 60.
He was reported to have died on Sunday in a Lagos hospital.
Sources close to Kimono told The Eagle Online on Sunday that the singer was rushed to the hospital about three days ago from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
He was said to have collapsed as he walked to his car after he was prevented from travelling out of the country aboard British Airways.
He had been in the hospital since then.
