Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested one of the masterminds of the attack on a passenger train running from Abuja to Kaduna in March 2022, Ibrahim Abdullahi.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, announced the breakthrough in Kaduna, Kaduna State on Thursday.

According to Adejobi, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abdullahi, also known as Mandi, was involved in the abduction of students from Greenfield University in 2021.
He said 48 AK-47 rifles were recovered from the suspect during his arrest, adding that investigations are underway to determine his weapons’ sponsor and supplier.
