A new Olota has emerged in Ota, Ogun State.
The kingmakers on Tuesday morning voted to elect a new monarch for the town.
He a is former journalist and lecturer, Prince Abdul-Kabir Adeyemi Obalanlege.
Obalanlege, 52, emerged as the 14th Olota after the five surviving kingmakers voted unanimously for him.
He defeated 22 other contestants.
