The Lagos State Government has given details of the new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) detected in the state on Sunday.
The details were provided on the Twitter handle of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, which has Prof. Akin Abayomi as Commissioner.
According to available information, one of the three new patients is a 51-year-old Briton, who arrived Nigeria on March 8 via British Airways flight BA75.
The second is a Nigerian, who boarded KLM flight KL0582 from London to Amsterdam and then connected KLM flight KL0587 from Amsterdam to Lagos.
Both flights were on March 14.
The third patient, according to the information provided, is a 65-year-old American, who arrived in Nigeria about six weeks ago.
As further precaution, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday directed the state’s civil servants on Grade Level 1 to 12 to work from home thenceforth.
