The Federal Government has barred all its officials, including public and civil servants, from travelling abroad.
The decision was announced by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on Tuesday.
Mustapha, who is the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus, spoke with newsmen after the inaugural meeting of the group at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Task Force went into a closed door meeting after its inauguration by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mustapha said the ban takes immediate effect.
