Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha announced the requirement for federal employees to vaccinate or ensure they bring negative vaccine tests from three-days-prior validity. It seemed like a tall order pointing in only one direction. The regulation would take effect from 1 December 2021, more than six weeks from now.

The funeral and thanksgiving service held at St. James’ Anglican Church, Iperu-Remo, also had in attendance the immediate past governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Gbenga Daniel, former governor of the state, the Acting National Leader of the Pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, 120 bishops and clerics, captains of industry and top political functionaries.

Extolling the virtues of Mustapha, Kalu commended the SGF for his patriotic roles in complementing President Muhammadu Buhari’s determined efforts in making Nigeria prosperous.

Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), who performed the inauguration on Thursday in Abuja, congratulated the members, saying their appointment as NEITI board members was based on individual merits and track records.

Mustapha said this in Abuja on Wednesday at the 2021 commemoration of Public Service Day, organised by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, with the theme: “Building the Africa we want through the impact and value of Public Service Organisations to the Society.”

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that those in attendance of the meeting include Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Chairman of the Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
