President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that former President Muhammadu Buhari has not placed a call to him since he left office on May 29, 2023.
President Tinubu said this on Tuesday in the FCT, Abuja at the launch of a book in honour of his predecessor.
The book was written by a former Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

In his remarks to close the launch, President Tinubu revealed that Buhari had kept his promise not to interfere in his administration by staying in Daura, Katsina State, his hometown.
He said he has been the one calling the former president to enquire about his welfare, adding: “He has not even nominated anyone for any appointment…..
“You served the country with dedication and uncommon zeal.”
