The supporters of the late first civilian Governor of Osun State, Isiaka Adeleke, on Sunday went on rampage in his home in Osogbo, Osun State.
The supporters, who prevented newsmen from having access to the house of of Adeleke, attacked some of them.
One of those beaten, Tope Alabi, with blood dripping from his head, was said to be a reporter with the Nigeria Television Authority.
According to information reaching The Eagle Online, the camera of the cameraman of the NTA, was also seized from him.
No reason was adduced for the action of the supporters who prevented the newsmen from entering the house.
Adeleke died in the early hours of Sunday at Bisket Hospital in Osogbo, Osun State.
Some reports said he was spotted at a social gathering on Saturday.
