Brazil match, a ‘war’ — Aribo

Super Eagles’ new sensation, Joseph Aribo, has admitted that the one-all draw against five-time World champions, Brazil, in Singapore was a tough duel.
The Rangers of Scotland midfielder stated this via his Twitter handle: @J_Aribo19, shortly after the game. 
Aribo tweeted: “Tough game against a top Brazil side! Team put in a shift till the end. Delighted to have got a goal!!
“Thank you to all the supporters that came out tonight and also everyone supporting worldwide!” 
In a similar vein, Super Eagles wing back Shehu Abdullahi hailed the team’s spirit against the South Americans, saying: “We had an amazing international game in Singapore, big fight against Brazil and the team spirit was superb.”
The defender also congratulated Aribo for his goal, just as he wished Francis Uzoho quick recovery from injury. 
“Quick recovery, get well soon bro. We appreciate you all for the massive support!,” Abdullah tweeted.
Rangers first team coach Michael Beale also saluted Aribo after he scored again on international duty for Nigeria. 
Aribo has now scored two goals in two caps for Nigeria and Rangers coach Beale took to social media to hail the Gers midfielder.
Beale wrote on Twitter: “Outstanding Joe Aribo. Two goals in two games for the national team.”
Rangers beat off intense competition for Aribo’s signature in the summer, with manager Steven Gerrard making a personal intervention to make sure the midfielder headed north of the border.
Aribo has already made 16 appearances across all competitions for Rangers, scoring four times.
The Gers have the 23-year-old under contract at Ibrox until the summer of 2023 and will be hoping to further develop his talents in the years to come.
