The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, has been announced as the winner of the poll in Benue State.
Buhari rattled the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, President Goodluck Jonathan, in the state, which is being governed by a PDP.
Buhari scored 373,961 votes to outscore Jonathan with 303,737 votes.
The announcement of the result by the Independent National Electoral Commission is continuing.
