The All Progressives Congress has set up a 10-member committee to articulate the party’s position on the call for restructuring.
The party announced this in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi
The party said it notes that with various agitations on restructuring, the concept has assumed several disparate meanings.
It said in the light of this, at the fifth regular joint APC National Working Committee/APC Governors meeting, which held on Wednesday, a committee was set up to articulate the party’s position on restructuring.
The members of the committee are the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-rufai (Chairman); Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong; and Governor of Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Others are former Governor of Edo State, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor; the APC National Organising Secretary, Senator Osita Izunaso; Abdullahi; Hajiya Fatima Balla; and Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi (Secretary).
