For the third year running, Annapurna Salt has announced its sponsorship of the Best Child Actor category in the upcoming Best of Nollywood Awards.
The category, for both male and female, have Olamide David in Cobweb, Asimiyu Uthman Omokunmi in Ifa Iwa, Dozie Onyiriuka in Journey To Self, Oyindamola Lanpejo in Finding Mercy and Titilayo Shobo in Unforgivable, as contenders for the awards.
Garba El-Suleiman, the General Manager, West Africa Popular Foods, makers of Annapurna Salt, said: “We believe in Nollywood and the fact that the products capture our target market (mother).
“Our main target audiences are mothers, which is our channel to reach the children because Annapurna is an iodized salt that helps the children’s brain, especially at their growing stage.
“And our brand aims to develop sharp and smart kids, qualities that are manifested in the nominees for Best Child Actor.”
Meanwhile, the organizers of the BON Awards also announced that its pre-awards event, the Talents Meet Class, which was to hold on October 15, has been rescheduled.
It has Prof. Pat Utomi as special guest.
