The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC says that women and children under 15 years will from Sunday watch the team’s matches free.
The team’s Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, made the disclosure on Friday in Ilorin to newsmen.
Chukwuemeka said the development was occasioned by the club’s bid to encourage families to watch its home games.
The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Premier League Club Owners boasted that Nigeria Professional Football League clubs stadia are safer than ever.
He acknowledged the good deeds of the League Management Company in achieving the safer environment.
Chuwuemeka said: “We want to encourage families to our match venues and the best way to go is to encourage the women.
“All you need to do as the head of the family is to bring the whole house and only the husband will pay, so far the rest are women, girls and boys under 15.
“ABSFC has a fantastic discipline when it comes to a safe place to watch a football match.
“We have some other plans but we are starting with this one first beginning from the game against FC IfeanyiUbah of Nnewi.
“We want to get the women fully involved too, just bring your family and enjoy good football.’’
The Saraki Boys will be looking forward to consolidate on their impressive start to the season with a win against IfeanyiUbah on Sunday in Ilorin.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Saraki Boys recorded a 3-1 win over Akwa United in Match Day 1 in Ilorin on January 15 and a 1-1 draw with Niger Tornadoes of Minna on Wednesday in Lokoja.
